From Exilic Mindset to Sovereign Conduct
During centuries of exile, with Jewish fate in others' hands, survival patterns were developed for conditions of powerlessness and transience. Yet these mechanisms—prioritizing the present, waiting for a Messiah, and focusing on internal enemies—are ill-suited to a sovereign Jewish state. Many of Israel’s problems stem from an incomplete mental transition from exile to sovereign existence. Therefore, addressing challenges like borders, governance, and economics requires furthering this essential transition.
Pursue Peace based on Arab & Palestinian Embrace of Zionism
True peace can only be realized when Arabs, especially Palestinian Arabs, end their century-long war against Zionism. Peace will come only when "Palestinianism"—an ideology of suffering and destruction—is replaced by an aspiration to live alongside a Jewish state rather than on its ruins. This requires millions of Palestinians in Gaza, the West Bank, and Jordan to recognize they are home, not "refugees," with no right to settle within Israel in the name of "return."
Public Services for those who Serve the Public
An advanced welfare state that constantly works to expand the freedom, quality of life, and well-being of its citizens, rests first and foremost on the principle of solidarity and mutual responsibility. Oz Party will work to ensure that high quality public education, healthcare, transportation, and welfare service would be provided equally only to those who serve in the military and to their families.
Events

The Oz Party seeks to return to Israeli politics the simple, forgotten principle of presenting arguments - not "who" but "what" - through personal gatherings across the country focused on ideas and vision. If you wish to hear more, ask questions, seek clarification, and challenge assumptions, you are invited to attend our events or invite us to speak.
